Brockton, Mass. - The Brockton Rox of the Can-Am League announced on Monday a partnership with CrowdZone, an IPhone application company based out of Sunnyvale, Calif.

CrowdZone's Check n' Cheer application, a mobile social network for crowds at sporting events, will enable Rox fans to connect and submit comments about the team's games with other fans of the club through their IPhones, whether at the game or while listening at home.

The Rox are the first minor league club in any sport to use the application. "We're excited about teaming up with CrowdZone," said Rox president *Chris Carminucci*. "The Rox have always been on the cutting edge of promotions and fan interaction, and this is another way to give our fans a way to connect while rooting for the team."

"We are ecstatic to be launching Check n' Cheer, the first Mobile Fan Network, with the Brockton Rox," Check n' Cheer co-founder *Todd Sullivan *added. "Check n' Cheer is the latest technology tool to improve the in-stadium fan experience while giving fans at home a sense of what it's like to be at the game. Rox fans will be able to check in to games, track game scores, post photos, text ShoutOuts, win fan trophies and prizes all while connecting with friends and other fans for free on their IPhones."
