
Brockton rocks Jackals

New Jersey Jackals News Release
The New Jersey Jackals put up a good fight tonight, but were defeated 12-6 by the Brockton Rox.
Sandy Madera put the Jackals ahead early with a two run double in the third. Brockton quickly answered in the fifth. Brad Rosenblat hit a solo homerun to highlight a four run fifth inning for the Rox. Brockton went on to add six runs over the next four innings.
The Jackals finally got on track in the ninth inning. Jackals scored six runs in the frame including a three run homerun by Joe Jiannetti. The Jackals rally fell short as Brockton took game one of the three game series by a score of 12-6.
The series continues on Tuesday night at Yogi Berra Stadium when Jackals all-star pitcher, Josh Brey faces Jon Koch of the Rox.
