Brigade Reach 6,500 Season Ticket Mark
January 11, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Kansas City Brigade News Release
The Kansas City Brigade (Arena Football League) surpassed the 6,500 season ticket plateau today. Ticket sales have been on a consistent course for the last month and the team has increased season tickets by over 1,500 since Christmas. Currently they rank in the top-four in the AFL.
"The inaugural season begins in two and a half weeks and the home opener is one month away," Owner Tyler Prochnow said. "We are still on course to exceed our objective of 7,000-8,000 season tickets. Ultimately, however, our goal transcends the numbers, as our ambition is to provide the enthusiastic fans with a great product on the field and a memorable game experience."
The Arena League Football attendance average was 12,829 last year and the Philadelphia Soul led the league with 16,121 fans per game. Only two teams averaged less than 11,172 fans. Kemper Arena holds 16,200 for AFL games.
For all season tickets, group tickets, or flex plans, please call the Kansas City Brigade ticket office at (913) 248-6250 or stop by their offices at 10314 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Ste. 250, Shawnee Mission, KS 66203.
For all individual game day tickets, stop by the Kemper Arena box office or call TicketMaster at (816) 931-3330 (on sale January 16th, at 10am). These ticket prices range from $9-$110.
Season tickets range from $72-$880 for the 8-game home regular season, with a lot of benefits included. All season ticket holders hold the first right to playoff tickets, discounted merchandise, a season tickets holder party and other âMeet the Team' events, and one autographed Neil Smith AFL replica football for every four (4) season tickets sold in the Lower Level.
Group tickets are already on sale. For groups of 15-99 people, the price is discounted $2 per ticket and for groups of 100 or more it is a discount of $4 per ticket.
Flex Plan (4-Packs) ticket sales are going well. Fans will receive tickets to four games: the home opener (inaugural home game for the Kansas City Brigade) versus the Austin Wranglers on Sunday, February 12th; Sunday, April 9th versus the Los Angeles Avengers; Sunday, April 16th versus the Colorado Crush; and one game of your choice. The Flex plans range from $36-$360.
