Kansas City Brigade News Release
The Kansas City Brigade (AFL) is very active in the community through charity work. Players, coaches, cheerleaders, and staff have been heavily involved with reading programs, hospital visits, many appearances, donation items, and much more. Today the team is building a home for Habitat for Humanity and will all participate in a blood drive. Tomorrow, Owner and Vice President Neil Smith, along with five Brigade players, will visit Operation Breakthrough.
Who: Kansas City Brigade is teaming up with Operation Breakthrough. Owner and Vice President Neil Smith, along with Brigade players Sam Simmons, Rob Johnson, Calvin Spears, Tremaine Neal, and Chris Morant will be on hand.
What: Neil Smith and players will visit the facility and meet and interact with the kids and their families. Operation Breakthrough is a center to help children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential them a safe, loving, and educational environment. It also strives to support and empower the children's families through advocacy, refererral services and emergency aid.
