
Brews, Blasts & Backpacks- Riders Begin Six-Game Homestand

FRISCO, TEXAS (AUGUST 10, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders resume their stretch of games at Dr Pepper Ballpark against the Tulsa Drillers (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals) on Tuesday, August 11 and continuing through the following Sunday, August 16. The Riders will host six straight days of fun, affordable family entertainment, unique ballpark promotions, tasty food and beverage options, and the future stars of the Texas Rangers in action. Sunday's 6:05 p.m. first pitch is the lone exception to the Riders' standard 7:05 p.m. games.
Highlighting the promotional slate will be another Thirsty Thursday (Aug. 13), a pair of Fireworks Nights (Aug. 14 and 16), Faith Night featuring a post-game concert from recording artist Jason Castro (Aug. 15), and a Kids Backpack Giveaway (Aug. 16).
Below is the day-by-day rundown of the promotional activities for the August 11-16 home stand.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 11 (7:05 p.m. vs. Tulsa)
- Taco Tuesday - $2 tacos available at concession stands all game long, plus select $3 beers and ½ price margaritas from 6-8 p.m.
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12 (7:05 p.m. vs. Tulsa)
- Wiener Wednesdays - $1 hot dogs all game long
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
THURSDAY, AUGUST 13 (7:05 p.m. vs. Tulsa)
- Thirsty Thursday - Fans 21-and-over can enjoy $1 domestic and $2 import draft beers from 6-8 p.m. Dr Pepper fountain sodas are also offered for just $1
- Dr Pepper 4 for 44 Night - This special package includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 Dr Peppers for only $44.
- "Groovy Grubesday" - DFW social media legend Michael Gruber (a.k.a. Grubes) will serve as the night's "Ambassador of Fun" and his legion of over 30,000 Twitter followers will receive special incentives and experiences during Thursday home games

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 (7:05 p.m. vs. Springfield)
- Post-Game Fireworks Show
SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 (7:05 p.m. vs. Springfield)
- Faith Night featuring a post-game concert from recording artist Jason Castro
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
- Saturday Night Post-Game Party- Fans are invited to stay after the game and enjoy drink specials at the Bull Moose Saloon
SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 (6:05 p.m. vs. Tulsa)
- Kids Sunday FunDay, featuring a Pre-Game Catch on the Field from approximately 5-5:30
- Kid's Backpack Giveaway - The first 1,500 kids (12 & under) will receive a free RoughRiders Backpack giveaway.
- $1 Ice Cream Sandwiches all game
- Post-Game Fireworks Show
- "Raising Cane's Grand Slam Sundays" -- Four (4) tickets, four (4) souvenirs and four (4) Raising Cane's Three Finger Combo vouchers for $39.50
