Brett Stern Added to Solar Bears Roster

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have agreed to terms with defenseman Brett Stern.
Stern (6-3, 194 lbs.) joins the Solar Bears after completing a four year career at Minnesota State-Mankato. As a senior this season, he appeared in 40 games for the Mavericks, scoring three goals and adding five assists for eight points to go along with 48 PIM. A native of Lino Lakes, MN, Stern was named to the WCHL All-Academic Team in 2012-13, and in his collegiate career (2011-15) he collected 24 points (6 goals, 18 assists) and 139 PIM in 137 games.
Before entering the collegiate ranks, Stern skated for one season for the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) where he posted one goal and five assists for six points in 31 games.
The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, play all of their home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center.
