
Brent Holmes Named Schutt Offensive Player of the Week

The af2 League Office has announced that Green Bay Blizzard OS Brent Holmes (5-11, 165 Texas A&M Kingsville) has been named the Schutt Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Green Bay's 67-50 win over the Memphis Xplorers on Friday night.
Holmes was a major player in Green Bay's first-ever home playoff win against the defending ArenaCup Champion Memphis Xplorers in an American Conference semifinal showdown. The second-year standout caught 10 passes for 161 yards (both game-highs) and two TDs. Holmes also amassed 104 yards on three kick returns, including a 58-yard return TD in the third quarter. He finished with a game-high 265 all-purpose yards. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week Award of Holmes' career.
