
Brenda Bryant Named Director of Communications

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has promoted Brenda Bryant to Director of Communications, effective immediately, Thunder team president Dan Chapman announced today.
"Brenda has done an outstanding job for our organization and is richly deserving of this promotion," said Chapman.
Bryant, who originally joined the Thunder in April 2005 as the organization's Manager of Community Relations, will continue to administer the Thunder's community relations and marketing efforts and will garner supervision of the Thunder's media relations and information services departments. A native of Montgomery, Louisiana, Bryant previously served the Central Hockey League's Topeka Tarantulas as Director of Marketing.
Bryant, 30, graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Northwestern State University (La.), and received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University's (Texas) Dedman School of Law.
A new Communications Assistant position will be created in the Thunder front office, with the search to begin immediately.
