Brazilian Midfielder Re-Signs with Sidekicks

Dallas Sidekicks News Release
(ALLEN, TEXAS: September 16, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks have re-signed midfielder Arthur Ivofor the 2019-2020 Major Arena Soccer League season. This will be Ivo's sixth season with the Sidekicks. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Ivo's hometown is Braganca Paulista, Brazil, but he went to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX for college where he played soccer. He was selected 42nd by Toronto FC in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft.
He currently coaches soccer and teaches at The Oakridge School in Arlington, TX. His favorite food is anything his grandma makes, and he loves to golf.
In the Sidekicks 2018-2019 MASL season, Ivo had two goals, four assists, and two blocks.
"I was very excited when I got a call that they wanted to meet about this upcoming season. The Sidekicks mean a lot to me, I have told Jesse [Llamas, Sidekicks Director of Soccer Operations] that Dallas is the only team I will play for," Ivo said.
