Danville Otterbots News Release
DANVILLE, VA - Rain has suspended D-Braves action in Princeton, as play was stopped in the top of the fourth inning with inclement weather. The game will resume from this point in the fourth inning on Sunday, August 24, at 5:05 p.m. during Danville's next series in Princeton against the Rays.
Danville will play a double header that day, the first game being played as a full regular scheduled nine-out game. The second of the two being a seven inning game resuming where the rain out last night left off, following a short break between the games.
The D-Braves (11-7) play next at Calfee Park against the Pulaski Mariners (10-9) in the first of a three game set, with a first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Danville Braves are in first place in the Appalachian League East, while Pulaski sits 1.5 games back, in third behind Danville and Princeton.
