
Braves rally for win

Richmond, VA - The Richmond Braves beat the Durham Bulls 5-4 Wednesday at The Diamond. The Braves rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Bulls for the first time in nine tries at home this season.
Durham took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI ground out by Justin Ruggiano. John Jaso smacked a two-run homer in the second inning to give the Bulls a 3-0 advantage. The Braves Jason Anderson drilled a home run in the third to cut Durham's lead to 3-1. But the Bulls tacked on a run in the fourth on an RBI triple by Fernando Perez. The Braves tied the game with three runs in the fifth. Anderson knocked in one with a fielder's choice. Brandon Jones ripped a two-run double to tie the game. Jason Perry put the Braves in front with an eighth inning home run.
Damian Moss picked up the win. Jorge Julio struck out the side in the ninth to notch a save. Calvin Medlock took the loss. Anderson had three hits for the Braves. Dan Johnson had three hits for Durham
