Columbus Catfish News Release
Columbus, GA - The Columbus Catfish will be back soon, and so will the Rome Braves. A brief four-game home stand against Rome will begin with game one Saturday, May 12 at 7:00pm. Other than great baseball, here is what to see and do at Golden Park:
Saturday, May 12, 7:00pm vs. Rome: The first 1,000 fans with a paid admission get a free Catfish team photo thanks to Hughston Orthopedic Hospital. Hang onto your photo and stick around; after the game jump in line for an autograph session with all the Catfish players! It's Little League Night, so all little league boys and girls in uniform get a free general admission ticket. Also, it's Columbus Consolidated Government Employee Appreciation Night. CCG employees contact Deborah Crumbley in human resources at (706) 225-3630 to get free tickets for you and your family. Every Friday and Saturday at Golden Park fans take advantage of the Fox 54/Sunny 100 Family Fun Pack. That's four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a souvenir program for just $25. It's the best family entertainment deal in town!
Sunday, May 13, 2:00pm vs. Rome: Happy Mother's Day! On this joyous day all moms get in free and the first 250 moms get a free carnation. You love your mom and you love baseball, it just makes sense to spend the day at Golden Park. Every Sunday at Golden Park kids 12 and under eat free. Purchase a ticket and we'll fill them up with a hot dog, chips and a drink.
Monday, May 14, 7:00pm vs. Rome: Play along with the game on the field. Every Monday we offer Baseball Bingo. If you hit the right numbers yell out "Bingo!" to win great prizes. Also, seniors 62 and older with a paid admission get a free hot dog, chips and a drink.
Tuesday, May 15, 7:00pm vs. Rome: Every Two-for-Tuesday fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one at the box office window (does not include Skybox tickets).
