Brahmas Top Bees in Fort Worth Faceoff Finale

FORT WORTH, Texas - Chad Woollard scored two goals Saturday night, helping the Brahmas top the Killer Bees 4-1 in the Fort Worth Faceoff finale.

Woollard's two goals move him into a tie for eighth on the CHL's all-time goal-scoring list with Sylvain Naud at 279. The long-time Brahma scored the first goal of the game at the 13:40 mark of the first period and added another midway through the second period.

Brendon Hodge scored his 12th goal of the season, and the eventual game-winner, 5:30 into the second period, and Dan Nicholls chipped in an empty-netter with just over two minutes remaining in regulation to seal the victory.

Texas netminder Mark Guggenberger returned to All-Star form Saturday night, stopping 26 of 27 Killer Bees shots. The Richfield, Minnesota native improved to 19-6-3 on the season.

The Brahmas return to the NYTEX Sports Centre on Friday, March 9 at 7:30pm to face off against the Missouri Mavericks for Pink in the Rink.
