Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
Fort WorthâThe Fort Worth Brahmas have found their radio home for the 2004-2005 season. Twenty Brahmas road games will be broadcast on KTFW 1460 AM, a station owned and operated by Cleburne based M&M Broadcasting.
In addition to the radio broadcasts, Brahmas fans will again have the opportunity this season to hear all of the Brahmas broadcasts online, with the internet feed from all twenty of the Brahmas game radio broadcasts available at www.brahmas.com and www.sportsjuice.com.
All of the Brahmas radio broadcasts will begin with a fifteen-minute pregame show prior to the scheduled start time of the game. There will also be a ten-minute postgame show following the completion of the game.
The first broadcast of the season for the Brahmas will be their 2004-2005 CHL season opener this Friday night, Oct. 22, when the team will travel to Bossier City, Louisiana to take on the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Face off for Friday's game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with the pregame show slated to begin at 6:50 p.m.
Jeff Bowerman, the Brahmas' Vice President of Communications, will be the play-by-play voice for the Brahmas radio broadcasts this season. This will be the fourth year in a row that Bowerman has served as the Voice of the Brahmas.
Barack is excited to again have the Brahmas games on KTFW.
"KTFW has been a loyal partner with the Brahmas for several years now. We will again have high quality radio broadcasts this season, and I am hopeful that people will tune in to the games we put on the air in order to follow the Brahmas on the road," he said.
Barack went on to encourage people to take advantage of the online audio option to hear the Brahmas in action.
"KTFW and Sportsjuice have again teamed up to provide the internet feed of our game broadcasts. I am hopeful that people in and around the greater Fort Worth area will listen to our broadcasts on the internet. It's another option for people to listen to our games, so hopefully they will take advantage of it," he elaborated.
