NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 31)-The Texas Brahmas open their fourth consecutive postseason run tonight as they host the Odessa Jackalopes in Game One of the opening round at 7 pm at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
Texas owned a 7-2 record against the ¬ËJacks in the regular season and outscored the opponent 40-31. Greg Hogeboom led all Brahmas scorers with 19 points (7 G, 12 A) in the nine games.
Following an appeals hearing last night, the Central Hockey League (CHL) has reduced the initial seven game suspension to Head Coach Dan Wildfong for tonight's first playoff game and the first four games for the 2011-12 season.
This season's Opening Round of the Ray Miron President's Cup playoffs schedule against the Odessa Jackalopes is:
Game 1 - Thu., Mar. 31 - Odessa at Texas, 7:00
Game 2 - Sat., Apr. 2 - Odessa at Texas, 7:30
Game 3 - Tue., Apr. 5 - Texas at Odessa, 7:05
