
Brady Tomlak Named Star of the Week

Jr. Blues forward Brady Tomlak was named as the NAHL Midwest Division Star of the Week. Tomlak had 4 points this past weekend including 3 goals to help lead the Jr. Blues to a sweep over the Kenai River Brown Bears. He is currently the team's leading scorer with 43 points in 52 games played on the season. Tomlak is committed to play next year at the United States Air Force Academy. "It was great to see Brady step up and play his role as a power forward, scoring a rebound goal and two more on deflections." says coach Tony Zasowski "He is a big component in our success and it showed this weekend."
Jr. Blues teammate Jeff Skinner was named as an honorable mention for the award this week.
Tomlak is the fifth Jr. Blues player to earn the Star of the Week honors, joining Michael Houle, Tommy Nappier (twice), Niko Della Maggiore and Kyle Meeh.
