The Anchorage Wolverines won a thriller on Friday night, beating the Janesville Jets 4-3 in overtime. Eino Rissanen made 25 saves for the Wolverines in the contest, with recent Robert Morris University commit Jackson Reineke winning the game in OT for Anchorage. Read Isaac Smoldon's full recap here.

Anchorage Wolverines Premier Sponsor, Orthopedic Physicians of Alaska, is the title sponsor of this weekend's series against Janesville. OPA Athletic Trainer extraordinaire Lynne Young and staff have been working with the Wolverines all season. Check out this article written about Young by ESPN.

A Note on the Ben Boeke Parking Lot

With the added security fencing in the parking lot, access to the Ben for the Anchorage Wolverines games is best accessed by entering on the Gambell Street side.

Anchorage Wolverines forward Jackson Reineke has announced his commitment to play for Division I college hockey for Robert Morris University in the 2023-24 season. "I chose RMU because they have a great coaching staff and are in a unique spot where they have a history of success and built a well-respected program," said Reineke. "That said, they're in a spot where they need to rebuild a team from the ground up for next year, and I am very excited to be a part of that. It reminded me a lot of what we did with Anchorage last year."
