RALEIGH, NC - Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the Hurricanes have reassigned forward Zach Boychuk and defenseman Michal Jordan (MIH-kahl yohr-DAHN) to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, the team has activated defenseman John-Michael Liles and forward Andrej Nestrasil (ahn-DRAY NEHS-tra-shihl) from injured reserve.
