Syracuse Crunch News Release
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse Crunch fans can own a part of hockey history and help the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York through a special autographed Toyota Frozen Dome Classic jersey auction.
From now through Monday, January 30, fans can bid on the signed Toyota Frozen Dome Classic warmup jerseys on the Crunch's official website at syracusecrunch.com/auction.
No. 75 Devon Still Cincinnati Bengals jerseys were worn by Crunch players during warmups at the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic as a tribute to Still's daughter Leah who suffers from Neuroblastoma, a Stage 4 pediatric cancer. In response to the Crunch's gesture, Still sent a video message to the team that was played prior to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic.
Jerseys donned by each Crunch player have been autographed and are available for bidding. Bids must be made in increments of $20 online. Fans may also place bids on select jerseys during home games.
All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York which endeavors to create, identify, and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children and families in Central New York and Northern Pennsylvania.
The online jersey auction will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 30. Winning bidders will automatically be notified within 48 hours. Winners must submit payment by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 6, and are responsible for shipping and handling costs.
The Crunch visit Hartford Friday and host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Saturday.
