Bounce announce dance team auditions

South Alabama Bounce News Release


Mobile, AL. The ABA Southern Alabama Bounce today announced that they will hold auditions for the dance team on Saturday, Sep 16th from 2-5pm at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama. This will be the last day for registration. The next practice will be on Sep 19th from 6-8pm at the same place. There will also be another scheduled practice on Sep 22nd from 6-8pm at Davidson High School. On Sep 23rd will be the first round of tryouts which will consist of interviews starting at 1pm at Davidson High School. There will also be the last practice before the final round of tryouts. The final tryout will be held on Sep 24th at Davidson High School starting at 2pm.

You are welcome to invite family and friends to attend the game. All participants will perform at the game. A total of 10-15 members will be chosen by a panel of judges for the official dance team. These ladies will perform for the upcoming Southern Alabama Bounce ABA basketball season. The final voting for the official members of the dance team will be posted on the South Alabama web site.

Participants must wear all Blue and Red dance attire. A red crop top that shows midriff, red or blue shorts, white athletic tennis or dance shoes. All participants must arrive to practices and auditions on time, with performance ready hair and makeup, a photo, proof of age (drivers license or state ID) and $25 registration fee.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age, should be physically fit and have previous dance or cheer experience. Blue and red attire must be worn for both the auditions and game at 6pm. The Southern Alabama Bounce are looking for women 18 & up who are both talented and excited to become part of the dance team. The judges will look for participants who possess lots of energy and those with great personalities. Please note: Home games during the basketball season will take place in Mobile, Alabama. Members must have their own transportation for both home games and practices - two per week - Tuesday and Thursdays, 7pm-9pm.
