Bounce need new point guard

January 15, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
South Alabama Bounce News Release

Mobile, AL. ABA So. Alabama Bounce point guard Miles Thrash has been called to play in Venezuela with the Marinos de Oriente basketball team. According to team officials, "This was a big break for Miles who is a very hard worker and one of the best point guards in the ABA. We think he will be a great player for his next team and we will miss the excitement he brings on the court and his pleasant attitude both on and off the court. He was a leader and will be missed."

The So. Alabama Bounce are looking for someone immediately who can come in and fill Miles shoes at the point guard position. And, they are also looking for a big man to come in and help on the board as they strive to get into the Power Rankings. If you can play, please contact the So. Alabama Bounce by emailing mobilehoops565@yahoo.com as soon as possible or visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
