Bounce bounces another player overseas

January 18, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
South Alabama Bounce News Release

Mobile, AL. The ABA South Alabama Bounce is sending another player overseas. Michael Green will be moving to New Zealand to play for the Canterbury Rams. Thanks to the tutoring of head Coach LaShun McDaniel and Asst. Coach Roy L. Clark, several players have improved dramatically since the season began and two of them have been awarded excellent contracts with international teams. Several others are being scouted seriously. According to McDaniel, "Michael is a player that works hard. He will be missed by the Bounce, but this is the name of the game and we think the next stop for him could be the NBA; he's that good. He will have an impact in New Zealand; they haven't seen a player quite as good as he is." For more information, visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
