Bounce win thriller over Vision

February 11, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
South Alabama Bounce News Release

Atlanta, GA. The ABA Southern Alabama Bounce defeated the Atlanta Vision 100-97 on the road. Atlanta jumped out with a 19-2 opening run but the Bounce as usual showed no quit and came back to end the first quarter tied at 23. The Bounce took the lead and never looked back and went into the half up 43-40.

In the third, the Bounce came back with the same intensity behind the scoring of Myles Thrash with 30 pionts and 8 rebounds in his last game before going to play internationally. Ben Lambert contributed greatly with 18 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

According to coach LaShaun McDaniel, "This was a big win for the Bounce as we try to turn things around and make the playoffs. We would like to make the playoffs, but we're also happy that we are helping our players get good international contracts. This is an important part of the ABA. Between our owners, Asst Coach Roy Clark and me, we want what is best for our players."
