Frost Heaves edge Aeros atop Power Rankings

February 11, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Vermont Frost Heaves have replaced the Arkansas Aeros as the #1 team in the ABA rankings.

According to Brad Hester, ABA VP of Team Operations, "In spite of having lost two more games than Arkansas (20-2), Vermont (22-4) has had the tougher of the two schedules and their wins over the #6 Bellingham Slam moved them to the top this week. There's no doubt about it - both are strong teams and are definite contenders for the ABA championship. And right now, both the Texas Tycoon #3 and the Jacksonville Jam #4 are showing strength. And now, the Mississippi Miracles have jumped into the rankings for the first time this season. The playoffs are going to be exciting."
