New York Boulders News Release
The Rockland Boulders (33-37) lost the rubber game of their three-game set by a score of 4-3 to the Quebec Capitales (27-42) on Sunday.
The Boulders kicked off the scoring in the top of the first inning when Matt Oberste clubbed his ninth home run of the season to give Rockland the early lead. However, Quebec scored two runs in each of the next two innings to take a 4-1 lead. Despite Richie Fecteau's two-run bomb in the sixth inning, Quebec was able to hang on for the victory to take two out of three games on the weekend.
Luis Cedeno gave up all four of the Capitales' runs in five innings in his second start of the season. Landon Holifield pitched three scoreless innings in relief.
After the completion of this road trip, the Boulders return home on Tuesday, with a Camp Day matinee against the New Jersey Jackals starting at 11 a.m. from Palisades Credit Union Park. Rockland will be home for five of the next six games, including a weekend series with Quebec starting on Friday night.
Tickets for all Boulders home games are available at the box office and online. You can also call 845-364-0009 for more information.
