BOSTON (November 5, 2008) - The Boston Blazers announced a new $40 season ticket plan for sports fans facing rising costs in the uncertain economy. Beginning today, fans can purchase a Boston Blazers LAX-cut season ticket plan for all eight Blazers professional indoor lacrosse games at the TD Banknorth Garden for the price of $40 ($5 per game).
"Boston Blazers pro indoor lacrosse is an exciting and affordable entertainment option for lacrosse fans and sports-minded families facing these uncertain economic times," said Blazers team president Doug Reffue. "We thought the Blazers should do our part and offer fans some good news for their budgets. We couldn't enact a tax cut, but by offering our special 'Ring of Fire' $40 season ticket, we enacted an immediate Boston Blazers LAX-cut."
The Blazers will play eight regular season home games at the Garden as part of their 16-game National Lacrosse League schedule. All 2009 Blazers home games are scheduled for Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. (ET). The 2009 Boston Blazers home schedule:
