Victoria HabourCats News Release
VICTORIA, B.C. - It's an annual fan fave dating back to 2015, and a date the community circles on the schedule.
Thanks to partner Bosley's on Yates, the dogs will mix with 'Cats on July 17, a 1:00 PM start, at Wilson's Group Stadium at RAP, always a special date for Team faithful.
"Aside from the home opener and the wildly popular fireworks nights, Bark in the Park is one of our most popular promotions, right there with our School Spirit game," said Assistant GM Christian Stewart, who has been fielding rapidly growing ticketing interest from fans, ranging from season memberships to single game seats.
"The guys at Bosley's think of everything for our canine friends for that game. There's a special energy to that game, and we're glad to announce it after missing HarbourCats baseball in the city for more than 1,000 days - COVID kept us from playing since August of 2019."
The HarbourCats season begins Tuesday, May 31st with a 6:35 pm Home Opener against the Port Angeles Lefties, the first of 34 regular season home dates at Wilson's Groups Stadium at Royal Athletic Park.
In addition to Bark in the Park, other big promotional dates include Fireworks Nights on June 11th, June 30th and August 1, Bobblehead Giveaway Day on June 12th, Father's Day on June 19th, Harvey's Birthday on July 10th, Business Person's Getaway Day on July 28th, Jersey Off Our Backs Night on August 6th and Fan Appreciation Day on August 7th.
