
Booth Joins Dragons, Perez Heads to DL

Dayton Dragons News Release
The Cincinnati Reds have placed catcher Miguel Perez on the disabled list with a broken finger on his non-throwing hand. Perez was hit on the glove hand on a back swing by Lumber King DH Pedro Quero during the Dragons May 10th game at Clinton. Replacing Perez on the Dragons active roster is Steve Booth. Booth has been in Sarasota, Florida at the Reds Minor League Complex. Booth, a 2002 ninth round draft choice out of San Francisco College, hit .216 with 3 HR and 14 RBI at short season Billings.
