BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Jon Booras, the second leading scorer for the Bloomington PrairieThunder, has been suspended for Friday's game at Flint, it was announced Tuesday by International Hockey League officials.
Booras was suspended for supplementary discipline as a result of the penalty he received for a check from behind in last Friday's game against Port Huron at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Bloomington's team captain has eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points in 18 games. The PrairieThunder plays the Generals at Perani Arena at 6:05 p.m. Friday.
