
Booras earns Player of the Week award

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Forward Jon Booras is the recipient of the PrairieThunder "Player of the Week" award, courtesy of Bloomington's Lone Star Restaurant.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Booras earned the weekly honor by recording one goal and one assist for two points in the PrairieThunder's 3-1 victory over Rockford. For the season, Boorastwo goals and seven assists for nine points.
The PrairieThunder returns to action Wednesday in a 7 p.m. Western Conference game in the United Hockey League at Moline against Quad City. The PrairieThunder's next home game is Tuesday (Dec. 26) at 7:05 p.m. against Flint at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
