
Bombers' Stokes Named Special Teams Player Of Week

WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Blue Bombers kick returner Keith Stokes was rewarded for his outstanding play in last week's 2007 Grey Cup East Final by being named the Rogers CFL Special Teams Player of the Week.
Stokes was a key contributor in the Bombers' 19-9 victory over the Toronto Argonauts in the Nov. 18 Final at Rogers Centre. He returned an 81-yard punt for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Stokes had a total of nine punt returns for 146-yards and a touchdown along with two kick returns for 38- yards.
In other Player of the Week news, Bombers running back Charles Roberts was the runner-up for Offensive Player of the Week.
