WINNIPEG, MB â The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today released veteran runningback Troy Mills.
Mills (6-0, 212, California-Sacramento '91, DOB: July 1, 1966 in Glendale, CA) played 13 regular-season games, the East Division Final and the Grey Cup for Winnipeg in 2001. He spent the first nine weeks of the 2002 season on the football club's practice roster.
Mills tallied 91 rushes for 430 yards and eight touchdowns in 2001. He added 27 receptions for 214 yards.
