MONTREAL, QC – The Bombers are on a roll and the Alouettes better be prepared.

Unlike the game earlier this season between the two teams, this contest will be much different. The difference being the Bombers are one of the hottest teams in the league at the present time. The loss to the Als in late August was the wakeup call the team needed.

The Bombers are coming into the game riding a three-game winning streak. The Bombers played one of their best games of the season last week in defeating the Toronto Argonauts. The Bombers record has improved to 6-7, which puts the team in sole possession of third place in the CFL's West Division standings.

The Alouettes are still the class of the league, sitting with an 11-1 record that puts them comfortably in first place in the East Division.

Kevin Glenn, who has led the team to three straight wins, will once again be the man in control of the offence. Glenn threw for a season-high 329 yards last week against the Argos.

Keys to win: As it has been all season, as Charles Roberts goes, the Bombers go. "Blink" has been running like a demon in the past few games. During the three-game winning streak, Roberts has rushed for an average of 130 yards per game. The team this year is 4-0 when Roberts rushes for 100 or more yards in a game.

The Bombers defence has been playing the past few games possessed. The defensive unit has allowed only three touchdowns in the last three contests. The defence has added a few new faces in the past weeks and the unit is starting to come together and live up to their expectations.

Kevin Glenn. Glenn had his best game of the season last week and part of his success was distributing the ball to all of his receivers. As a matter of fact, all of the Bombers starting receivers caught at least two passes last week. Glenn must do this again and keep the Alouettes defence on their toes.

Line up shuffle: The Bombers will have the same starters on offence and defence as last week. The only change has safety Geoff Drover coming off the injured list to replace fullback Randy Bowles on the roster.

Bomber leaders: Wide receiver Milt Stegall continues to lead the receiving corps with 640 yards. Runningback Charles Roberts now sits with 1,099 yards rushing, which puts him in second place in the CFL's rushing category. Roberts is a mere 36 yards behind Hamilton's Troy Davis.

On defence, linebacker Maurice Kelly leads the team in defensive tackles with 44. Defensive end Tom Canada, who has been receiving special attention the last few games, leads the team with seven quarterback sacks.

Special notes: The Blue Bombers once again had two players named players of the week for last week's game against the Argos. Once again, Charles Roberts was named the offensive star and Keith Stokes was named the special teams player of the week. Runningback Charles Roberts has now passed the 1,000-yard mark in a season for rushing for the third-straight season. Congratulations to Director of Media and Public Relations Shawn Coates. Shawn will be working in the CFL head office in the near future. Good luck Shawn you will be missed.
