Bombers complete trade with Florida

Dayton, OH- Head Coach and General Manager Don MacAdam announced Tuesday that the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL have completed their trade with the Florida Everblades. Florida has sent forward John Ronan to fulfill the future considerations portion of the trade for defenseman Tyson Teplitsky.

"We are pleased to have him on our roster, "said MacAdam. "We look forward to getting him signed for the upcoming season."

Ronan played in 68 games with Florida last season, scoring 26 points (12G, 14A) and accumulating 27 penalty minutes.

Ronan, a 5'10", 202-pound native of Braintree, Maine, played his collegiate hockey at the University of Maine and signed with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL at the end of his senior season in 2004-05. As a member of the Black Bears, he appeared in 132 games, scored 47 points (25G, 22A) and had 40 minutes in penalties.

While in Alaska, Ronan appeared in two games during the regular season and three games during the post season with the Aces.
