Bombers Clinch Second Consecutive Playoff Berth!

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers have clinched a position in the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs, the team's second straight post-season appearance, and will face the Johnstown Chiefs in the opening quarterfinal round.

The Bombers will host Game 1 in the best-of-three North Division Quarterfinals at the Ervin J. Nutter Center on Sunday, April 6, tentatively scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

Game 2 will be played in Johnstown on Tuesday, April 8. Game 3, if necessary, is TBD, based on the final standings of the Bombers and Chiefs.

Tickets for the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs will go on sale to the public this Friday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nutter Center box office, the Bombers office and all Ticketmaster outlets, including online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Prices will start at $17 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under. Group discounts are also available by contacting the Bombers office this week.

The Bombers, who are currently in fifth place in their division, clinched a playoff berth following the Trenton Devils' 5-0 loss to the Chiefs.

The Bombers have two remaining home games in the regular season: Tuesday, April 1 against Cincinnati and Saturday, April 5 against Johnstown. Both games start at 7:00 p.m. and doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
