Boise ID - The Boise Hawks and Main Street Mile are working together to strike out prostate cancer. On June 19, 20, 21, 27, and 28 the Hawks squad will be wearing powder blue jerseys to support prostate cancer and awareness while raising money for the cause.
"The Hawks feel that this will be a great opportunity to combine baseball with a great cause and a chance to make an impact on prostate cancer research, said Hawks President/General Manager Todd Rahr. "We support the efforts of Main Street Mile and we are elated to help."
The Hawks are donating $1 from every walk up ticket sold on Thursday June 19 to Main Street Mile's prostate cancer research effort. Fans can also click here to take part in an auction starting June 19 and ending June 28 at 10pm MDT.
