JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tomorrow's game against the Birmingham Barons at 1:30 p.m. ET at Rickwood Field.

Infielder Justin Bohn has been transferred from Jacksonville to High-A Jupiter. Bohn played in 28 games for the Suns, hitting .161 (14-for-87) with a homer and six RBI. Bohn, the Marlins' No. 12 prospect according to Baseball America, was hitting .133 (6-for-45) with 2RBI in May.

In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Juancito Martinez has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Martinez pitched in 18 games for the Hammerheads, going 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA in 22 and two-thirds innings and he also had six saves. At the time of his promotion, Martinez was tied for the Florida State League lead in appearances (18), third in games finished (13), fourth among relievers in batting average against (.159), and fourth among relievers in fewest baserunners per nine innings (8.74). Martinez was originally signed by the Marlins as a free agent out of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2008.

The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players.

The Suns will start a five-game series with the Birmingham Barons on Wednesday afternoon in the 20th annual "Rickwood Classic" from Rickwood Field. The Suns will send out righty Kendry Flores (2-3, 1.95 ERA) while the Barons will send right-hander Miles Jaye (2-2, 4.05 ERA).
