Bob Ross Classic Returns to Fifth Third Field

DAYTON, OH - Fifth Third Field will host the eighth annual Bob Ross Classic, featuring the top high school baseball players from around the Dayton region, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 21st.

The Bob Ross Classic will feature the top baseball student-athletes in the class of 2008. High schools from all over the Dayton region will send their best pitchers and sluggers to Fifth Third Field for the July 21st game.

Some of the top stars scheduled to play in Saturday's game include 1st Team All Ohio selection Brett Clifton of Shawnee High School, Metro Buckeye Conference Player of the Year Eric Biggs of Dayton Christian High School, and Zach Dumler of Vandalia Butler High School, who recorded 69 strikeouts on his way to 1st Team All GWOC honors.

Admission will be free to all fans, with the gates to Fifth Third Field opening at 6 p.m. Dragons mascots Heater, Gem, and the Green Team will be on hand to entertain the fans, and concession stands will be open for the game.
