Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Blues erased a 2-0 deficit and took a 3-2 lead into the locker room after two periods.
The Blues got a goal from Anthony Scarsella- his third of the season- on a faceoff win and a shot from the right point, taking the one-time feed from Cody Lichtenvoort. Joe Lupo pounced on a big rebound off a shot from Jeff Skinner to tie the game at 2 halfway through the middle period.
Schneider had a two-on-one with Skinner and was able to dunk it past Janesville goalie Blake Weyrick on a Play of the Week candidate goal, Schneider's first of the NAHL. Brady Tomlak's backhander off a feed from Trevor Stone cushioned the Blues to a 4-2 lead.
Skinner got his first NAHL goal in the form of an empty-netter and finished with three points.
Blues goalie Nikko Della Maggorie stopped 38 of 40 shots.
Blues play one more with Janseville Saturday night 10/24 to close out the weekend. Saturday will be faith and family night. Faith based music will be played throughout the night. Stick around after the game  for a special power light Christian skate night.
