Blues Training Camp Opens This Weekend

ST. LOUIS (September 10, 2009) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the daily schedule for the 2009-10 training camp. Players will be divided into three teams and will begin on-ice testing on Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Mills. Training camp will move to Scottrade Center, with sessions all open to the public and free of charge on Sunday, Sept. 13, Monday, Sept. 14 and Thursday, Sept. 17. All practices at Scottrade Center will be at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. and scrimmages will start at 11:30 a.m.

In preparation for the 2009-10 NHL regular season, the Blues will play seven preseason games. The first three games will be at home and begin on Tuesday, Sept.15 vs. Minnesota followed with back-to-back contests on Friday, Sept. 18 vs. Colorado and Saturday, Sept. 19 vs. Dallas. All Blues preseason home games start at 7 p.m. The Blues will play at Colorado on Sunday, Sept. 20, Thursday, Sept. 24 at Minnesota, Saturday, Sept. 26 at Dallas and Thursday, Sept. 29 at Linkoping of the Swedish Elite League.

Prior to the final home preseason game on Saturday, Sept. 19, Blues fans can kick off the 2009-10 season at FANfest. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Blues players and enjoy activities on the concourse.

FANfest Ticket Information

This year's FANfest will be held in conjunction with the Blues vs. Dallas Stars preseason game on Saturday, Sept. 19. Tickets for FANfest start at $10 and include a ticket to the game. A ticket to FANfest includes a Mezzanine Level seat for the game in addition to concourse activities and autograph sessions beginning at 3 p.m. Fans may also upgrade to a Plaza Level game ticket for $30*. FANfest tickets are available now at the Scottrade Center Box Office and online at stlouisblues.com. If ordering online, choose tickets from the "Special FANfest Offer" box.

* Glass and Club seats are excluded.

3 p.m. DOORS OPEN

The first 3,000 fans will receive a free FANfest t-shirt courtesy of Fox Sports Midwest.

Blues Practice

Watch players take part in a pre-season practice from approximately 3 - 4 p.m. (Please note that seating is open for the practice and fans may sit anywhere in the lower bowl.)

Hockey Puck Wall hosted by ArtDimensions. Kids can decorate a puck to go on our first-ever FANfest Kids Hockey Puck Wall.

Stick with Hockey hosted by The Magic House. Kids can decorate a die-cut mini stick to take home at The Magic House booth.

Fit 'N' Fun at Home with St. Louis Children's Hospital. Stop by the St. Louis Children's Hospital table to pick up an interactive game for kids to take home that teaches them the importance of activity and healthy snacks in growth and development and a free water bottle.
