
Blues Shut Down in 4-0 Setback

In last night's battle between the Pittsfield Suns and Bristol Blues, the Blues traveled into enemy territory to be downed by the Suns by a score of 4-0. The Blues were able to get eight hits but were unable to score any runs in the effort.
Both Ryan Rinsky (Ramopo) and Jamie Timothy (Roger Williams) led the Blues with two hits apiece. Blues starting pitcher Tim Cate (UCONN) went four innings, allowing only one run and adding in five strikeouts to the stat line. Cate was scored the loss while Suns pitcher Corey Wilson was given the win in the Suns effort.
The Blues are back in action tonight, July 26, in Wachusett when the Blues travel to take on the Dirt Dawgs. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30pm.
