Orange County SC News Release
IRVINE, Calif. (March 6, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC heads to Beaverton, Oregon on Sunday, March 8th for a fun but important week at Nike World Headquarters, to train at the Bo Jackson Sports Center. The club will be the first USL team to use the facilities at Nike, and the Blues are proud to be a partner with Nike and able to make use of their amazing facilities.
While on the Nike campus, the team will train at the company soccer fields, have access to the high-tech fitness and weight rooms, and take a tour of the entire campus, and visit the Nike Company Store. The players will also get to explore the city of Portland during their off-time.
The trip will be detailed by several Blues players through the team's social media outlets. Defender Jimmy Turner will take over the team's Instagram account and cover the week. Goalkeeper Aaron Perez will be live tweeting from inside the facilities. Forward/Midfielder Christopher Santana will be on the team's Facebook with some fun content and will also ask fans for cool places to visit while in Portland. Snapchat will be taken over by social media absentee Josh Suggs. This will be the left-back's first time on a social network.
