July 15, 2015 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Bristol Blues News Release
In last night's battle between the Martha's Vineyard Sharks and the Bristol Blues, fans were able to see the two teams with the best records in the FCBL clash for a matchup. The Sharks were able to come away with a decisive 7-2 victory and make the Blues record on the season now sit at 21-13.
The Blues Gerrad Rohan (Akron) was able to go 2 for 4 with the only two RBI's for the Blues.
Starting pitcher for Bristol was Dominic LoBrutto (Florida International) who went an even four innings allowing five runs on five hits before being replaced by Michael Nocera (Merrimack). LoBrutto was tagged with the loss with Sharks pitcher Zach Brown picking up the win.
The Blues are back in action tonight, July 15, when the Worcester Bravehearts come to town. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm with Kyle Dube (Fairfield) scheduled to be taking the mound.
