
Titans Jump on Nashua Early and Coast to 11-4 Win

The Torrington Titans (15-17) shut the door early on the Nashua Silver Knights (15-17), capturing an 11-4 victory on Tuesday at Holman Stadium.
The game was decided quickly as the Torrington Titans scored early with six runs in the first three innings, including four in the first. All nine players that started the game for the Titans picked up at least one hit in this one.
A two-run double by Dan Schock (Sacred Heart) and a two-run double by Joe Paparelli (Bryant) during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Torrington Titans. Schock had two RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. Dean Lockery, Cody Doyle, Isaiah Rivera and Zach Wood all had two hits to help the Titans in this cross-divisional victory.
Robbie Hitt (Quinnipiac) got the win for the Torrington Titans thanks to six strikeouts. Hitt allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over seven innings.
The Titans are at home on Wednesday against the North Shore Navigators at 7:00 p.m.
