Bluefish to Hold LGBTQ Night Featuring Nbc Sports Radio Host Jason Page

(Bridgeport, Conn. - June 5, 2015) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that NBC Sports Radio Host Jason Page will be at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on Tuesday, June 23rd as the Bluefish host a LGBTQ Night. Page will throw out the first pitch before the game and will be interacting with fans on the concourse throughout the game.

Page was born and raised in Connecticut and has previously worked for the Newark Bears, a former Atlantic League team, as a play-by-play announcer. Jason is currently the host of "Up Late with Jason Page", a sports talk show that airs across the country on over 100 radio stations, as well as on SiriusXM Radio. He is also a contributing sports commentator for MSNBC. Page came out as openly gay in 2011.

"I couldn't be happier to join the Bluefish in this historic night for the organization and Atlantic League," says Jason Page. "Joining others from the LGBTQ community for a night of baseball at Harbor Yard is something I am honored to take part in. The sports-world is becoming a safer place for those in the LGBTQ community with each day that passes. I hope others will come out and join me on the 23rd for an amazing night."
