BlueClaws unveil fifth year logo, theme

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – As the Lakewood BlueClaws head into the fifth season of baseball at the Jersey Shore, the team is proud to unveil the official fifth year logo and slogan. "Celebrating Five Years of Fun in the Jersey Sun" will commemorate the occasion with the new logo.

The logo will be featured on many of the team's advertisements, publications and promotional material. Fifth year anniversary merchandise will be available on "BlueFriday" – Friday, November 26. Items will be on sale at the ClawsCove Store, which will have its annual "BlueFriday" sale and operate from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This Friday and Saturday ALL women's apparel and adjustable hats will be 50 percent off. Special T-shirt sections will be marked down to $10 each and other merchandise will be discounted to kick off the holiday season. Fans of all ages will find plenty of Yankees, Mets, and Phillies apparel, as well an abundance of BlueClaws items.

As the holiday shopping season kicks off fans will also find the popular Bushel of BlueClaws ticket plans available Friday. Each plan includes seven pre-selected dates that include Opening Night, match ups against the Yankees and Mets affiliates, fireworks shows, on-field entertainers and much more.

This season the Lakewood BlueClaws have partnered with Six Flags/Great Adventure and will offer fans an exceptional offer for taking advantage of the seven game plan. Individuals that purchase a Bushel of BlueClaws plan or any other ticket plan offered by the BlueClaws will receive two "Day Passes" to Six Flags/Great Adventure, a value of $96.00 (per order form).

The BlueClaws will also use their ticket windows as a venue for residents to purchase Season Passes to the theme park. Patrons that purchase the Six Flags/Great Adventure Season Passes at the ballpark will receive $20.00 in "BlueBucks" to use at future BlueClaws games.

This year the Lakewood BlueClaws will surpass the TWO MILLION-fan attendance plateau faster than any other team in New Jersey professional baseball and South Atlantic League history.
