
BlueClaws Playoff Push Has Seven More Home Games

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws continue their playoff push this weekend when they open a two-game series with the Hagerstown Suns (Nationals) on Friday night at FirstEnergy Park.
There are just seven chances remaining to see the BlueClaws at home this season.
Friday, there will be post-game fireworks thanks to Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood on the final Friday home game of the season.
Saturday, another 7:05 game, fans will receive Duncan Baseball Yo-Yos thanks to Warshauer Electric.
There will be pre-game music in the Coors Light WRAT Trap before games on both Friday and Saturday nights.
The BlueClaws will then spend two days in Hagerstown before returning home on Tuesday, August 28th to open a three-game series with Lake County. The first day of the series will feature the conclusion of one game and then the regularly scheduled game to follow.
At 6:05, the BlueClaws and Captains will finish a suspended game from July 6th. That night, which is sponsored by the NJEA, the BlueClaws will host the first-ever G-Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, presented by G-Rock Radio. It's open to the first 128 fans, 18 and older, to sign up when the gates open at 5:00.
Wednesday, join us as Investors Savings Bank presents the Justin Blaine car giveaway. The Lakewood pitcher has generously agreed to donate his car and it will be raffled off to one lucky fan that night. All licensed drivers in attendance are eligible to win the car which will be autographed by the entire team.
That night, it's also Karaoke All-Stars Night. 94.3 the Point presents the first ever "Battle of the Bars," where karaoke winners will perform in front of celebrity judges. Fans will also have the chance to sing karaoke that night at the park thanks to KC Entertainment.
Finally, in what is the perfect finale to an enormous evening, there will be post-game fireworks thanks to Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood.
Thursday, August 30th, the BlueClaws will host a beer- tasting, thanks to Shore Point Distributors, in the outfield picnic area, as fans can partake in an all-you- can eat and drink from 6:30 to 8:00.
Additionally, fans can head out to the Coors Light WRAT Trap for Happy Hour and $1 beer and soda.
After two days on the road, Lakewood finishes the regular season at home with Hagerstown. Sunday September 2nd is the final fireworks show of the season, thanks to Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood.
Finally, on Monday, September 3rd, come out for Fan Appreciation Day at 1:05. We'll take a post-game photo on the field, and the day features $1 hot dogs, the biggest merchandise sale of the year, and two-for- one Pinchy's Playground tickets.
Also that day, any fan with a ticket to a 2007 BlueClaws game, used or unused, can bring it to FirstEnergy Park and get a reserved seat for just $6.
