
BlueClaws Fall 7-2 on Wednesday Morning; Iser Homers in Loss

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Eric Wagaman had four hits and drove in three as Hudson Valley topped the BlueClaws 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon at ShoreTown Ballpark.
Hudson Valley opened the scoring in the second on a solo home run by James Nelson, his second of the season. Carlos Narvaez doubled i two runs in the fourth and Aldenis Sanchez followed with an RBI single to give the Renegades a 4-0 lead.
The Renegades added a run in the fifth on an RBI single by Wagaman. Rafael Marcano (0-3) was charged with five runs in 4.1 innings and took the loss.
Andrew Baker gave up two runs in the seventh, an RBI double to Wagaman and an RBI single to Spencer Henson.
Meanwhile, Renegades starter Shawn Semple (1-0) threw five scoreless innings to earn the win.
In addition to Wagaman's four hit game, Trey Sweeney, Spencer Henson, and Aldenis Sanchez all had two hits for Hudson Valley.
Herbert Iser hit a two run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to account for both BlueClaws runs. Iser and Uziel Viloria each had two hits in the loss.
The teams continue their series on Thursday night at 7:05 pm. RHP Kyle Glogoski starts for the BlueClaws.
