
Blue White Series Game Two: Veteran Pleckaitis Leads Team Blue to Victory

(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit Blue White Series continued Thursday afternoon with the second of three scrimmages between the players attending the Spirit Training Camp. Veteran Spirit forward Joe Pleckaitis (89) tallied two goals to propel Team Blue to a 7-4 victory over Team White, evening the series 1-1.
Joining Pleckaitis in scoring for Team Blue were veteran forward Tyler Murovich (89), rookie forward Anthony Camara (93), forward David Lazarus (92), forward Matt Gellatly (91) and forward Carlton Richard (92).
Scoring for Team White in the game were veteran forwards Jordan Skellett (89) and Daniel Clairemont (92). Forward Mark Scheifele (93) also tallied a goal in the effort, marking his third goal of the series.
The Blue White series wraps up Friday, August 28 at 9:00 AM. The Blue White games are played at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena. The camps are held in conjunction with the Saginaw Spirit Training Camp, presented by Meijer with support from Four Points by Sheraton and Blue Lakes Charters and Tours.
