
Blue Prevail over Seacoast 6-4

In last night's battle between the Seacoast Mavericks and the Bristol Blues, the Blues were able to prevail in a 6-4 win in large part to a five-run inning in the bottom of the fifth. The win pushes the Blues record to 24-16 on the season, helping them contain the first place slot In the West Division.
The Blues were led offensively by Ryan Costello (CCSU) and Tyler Packanik (Marietta) who both contributed two RBI's to help establish the lead.
Blues starting pitch Dominic LoBrutto (Florida Internatioal) was able to make it through five innings of work, allowing four runs on seven hits and contributed two strikeouts to the game and to earn himself the win. Robert Paccione (LIU Post) picked up the save after going an inning and allowing no baserunners. The Maverick's losing pitcher was Evan Flanagan.
The Blues are back in action tonight when the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs visit Muzzy Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
